Savannah turns 2!

While we really enjoyed celebrating our sweet Savannah, I am so glad to be finished with her birthday. It was a blast, but boy was it tiring.
We started Savannah's acutal birthday at the Children's Museum. She was running around so much, I could hardly snap a picture.
Here's Savannah watching the newly hatched baby chicks.

After a lunch out with Daddy and a nap, Meg took Savannah out for a birthday cupcake. After Savannah blew out the candle, I took it out for her along with the plastic Happy Birthday sign. She looked at me and said "Nana" (her name for herself) and put them back on the cupcake.

Then, once Daddy was finished working we went to the aquarium. Savannah is obsessed with fish, so she was thrilled.

On our way to her party on Sunday, we stopped to pick up a few balloons.

Our Crazy Christmas

We had a fabulous and very busy Christmas this year. We went to Phoenix to visit Heather's family and to attend the wedding of one of Heather's cousins. Here are some photos of all the events.

The Holidays

So, the holidays have been so busy I have not posted any of the cute pictures we have taken of Savannah. So, I will try to catch up now. So, here goes...

Savannah is not so sure about this Santa character.

Even when Mama is holding her, she still is holding on for dear life.

One Thursday afternoon Rice Village had some Christmas festivities. Here is Savannah riding on the "train". Apparently this is very serious business.

Savannah's first encounter with "snow". The best picture from this is on the Christmas card. You will just have to wait to see it.

We took Savannah to see this amazing light display in a neighborhood by her Grandparents in Conroe. She loved it. The whole thing is choreographed to several diferent songs. They even had three bubble machines (Savannah's favorite).

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

It's a Girl!!

We are thrilled to announce our second baby, arriving in April, is a girl. Savannah will get to have a sister. Hopefully she will enjoy our new addition without too much jealousy.

One very wet Savannah!

This pudding stuff sure is yummy.

Halloween Fun

Our Halloween started on Monday, Oct. 29th at the Children's Museum of Houston. Savannah had a blast playing in the old Ford Mustang they have there.

On Tuesday we went to a party at Gymboree. She had lots of fun running around with her friends, her mom, and her grandparents.

We hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!

Zoo Boo

We attended the first weekend of Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo this weekend for Sean's company picnic. We think Savannah looked quite cute as a lady bug.

So much news...

Well, we have been remiss with this blog lately. Hopefully we can get everyone caught up now. The biggest news is that we are expecting our second child on April 16, 2008. We had our first ultrasound today. Everything looks great. The baby was kicking and moving around lots. It is growing right on schedule.

We finally sold our old home. While we will miss all the good memories we had there, we are glad to have moved on to our new place. If only all the boxes would unpack themselves...

Savannah started mother's day out, much to her disappointment. Although we got a good report today, so I think she is starting to adjust. Some of her new tricks include wearing our shoes and clothes to be like mama and daddy. It is really cute. She is also fascinated with climbing into our cabinets. Of course the best way to test out a mixing bowl is to sit in it and spin around in circles. Here are a few cute pictures.
